This week, we reached a significant milestone in our quest to have Full Noise soaring the skies again! The fuselage has finally returned from Richmond where it's been worked on for some months so that all the complex engine cowls could be manufactured. Quality takes time, and Full Noise has never looked so good.
The boys at JEM have wasted no time prepping and painting with the final coats of the two-tone grey camouflage sprayed on the fuselage this week. Once the wing and fuselage are bolted together, it's time to install the freshly overhauled Allison V-12 engine next week, and then the sprint to the finish line, which is Classic Fighters 2025.
If you have ever wanted to fly in a high-performance warbird, then this is your chance! The team at Fighter Flights will be offering joy flights in Full Noise over the weekend. Slots will be limited so make sure to reach out today! Click here to find out more.
How do you paint a warbird? With a steady hand and a great, big spray gun! Check out this video of Jem Aviation's Marty Nicoll doing his thing!
